I grew up in the mean streets of a small town in the Mississippi Delta. My literary influences are Robert Heinlen, Walker Percy, Daddy Rabbit Faulkner, and Tennessee Williams.

I have worked as a maintenance man, garbage man, newspaperman, and salesman. I've been the Publisher of several newspapers and magazines and owned an advertising agency for a while.

I have written seven novels, most of them featuring the characters John Hardin, Richie Hardin, and Johnny Roberts. They are constantly in trouble which makes the writing easier.
