Hello, and thanks for visiting my website. Long ago, usually on Sunday afternoons, I would sit in my grandmother's parlor in a little Mississippi, Delta town (I call it Roberts in my books) and listen to her spin tales of love, death and money for hours. My grandmother was a natural storyteller, a lauded oral historian. Sometimes I would leave the house and go play with the kids down the street. I would come back an hour later and she would still be telling the same story, one of many that would rival Faulkner or a Russian novelist. Her stories were complex, deep, revealing, chock full of pathos and regret. This was my introduction to literature.
Over the years my writing has tended to be in the long form, the novel. To date, I've written seven. I hope you enjoy them.
